CPR/BLS for the Healthcare Provider

 

The Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider course teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills (barrier-device ventilation, bag-mask device ventilation, etc.), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBOA, formerly known as Heimlich maneuver or procedure).  This course is intended for those individuals who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of medical or care-giver settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care facilities, etc.; however, certified, non-certified, licensed or non-licensed individuals may enroll in this course.

 

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a course completion card from the American Heart Association which is valid for two (2) years from the date of receipt.

 

 

 

CPR/BLS for the General Public

 

Course Length: 2 – 4 hours                               Fee:      $70 (Including Book)

 

Registration:  $20                      Tuition:   $40                Book:  $10

 

The Basic Life Support for the General Public course teaches basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills (CPR) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBOA, formerly known as Heimlich maneuver or procedure) to non-professional healthcare personnel or any layperson who wishes to acquire these skills. 

 

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a course completion card from the American Heart Association which is valid for two (2) years the date of receipt.
